Stephen Scott is running to put service, accountability, and community at the center of representation in Jefferson City.

Why Stephen is running
Three things pushed Stephen to run: public education, health care, and first responders. He has seen the difference that strong public institutions and reliable public services make in the lives of families across District 108.
He is running because our schools, our health care providers, and the people who answer the call in an emergency deserve a representative who will show up and fight for them.
The people in this community give him hope
Stephen has seen voters support school board candidates who believe in public education and communities come together to repair, improve, and invest in their schools. That tells him people understand what is at stake and are willing to show up when it matters.
Good schools, safe neighborhoods, reliable emergency services, access to health care, and common-sense government are not too much to ask. Seeing people volunteer, vote, ask questions, and stand up for their community is what keeps Stephen going.
SERVICE OFF THE TRAIL
Training to serve when it matters most.
When he is not working or campaigning, Stephen is a K9 handler with Missouri Task Force 1. He and Ziva train regularly for disaster search and rescue.
Maintaining certification as an Urban Search and Rescue K9 team takes time, training, and commitment. It is another way Stephen serves families and communities in some of their most difficult moments.
Service is a lifelong commitment.
Stephen is ready to bring the same focus, preparation, and care he has given to his community throughout his life to the people of District 108.
